Pursuant to MSA 103B.227, Subdivision 5, Lower Minnesota River Watershed District hereby solicits proposals for an Engineering Consultant, a Legal Consultant and a consultant to provide Education & Outreach services.

The District will conduct its April 2020 Board meeting electronically.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Managers of the Lower Minnesota River Watershed District (LMRWD) will meet in the County Board Room at the Carver County Government Center, 602 East 4th Street, Chaska, Minnesota on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 7:00pm and will hold a public hearing in accordance with Section 103D.341. of Minnesota Statutes. The purpose of the public hearing is to answer questions and take public testimony regarding the adoption of rules to implement the 2018 Lower Minnesota River Watershed District's Watershed Management Plan.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency recently released a series of reports, studies and plans addressing water contamination in the Minnesota River, the biggest tributary to the Mississippi in our state. It looks like the river is in need of some big changes if we're to meet our state's water quality goals.
