Due to the significant volume of permit application received by the Lower MInnesota RIver Watershed DIstrict, the Board of Managers has determined that there is need for an additional meeting each month in order toapprove permit applications.  Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month beginning May 5, 2021 and continue until the volume of permit application subsides and Board of Managers determines that such meeting are no longer necessary.  Meetings will begin at 7:00pm at the regular meeting location in the County Board Room at the Carver County Government Center, 602 East 4th Street, Chaska, MN 55318. 

The purpose of the meetings is to ensure  timely approval Watershed District permits.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §13D.021, this meeting of the Board of Managers is being convened remotely by tele-conference and/or video-teleconforence.  The meeting will be held on WebEx by Cisco.  Members of the public interested in attending the meeting and/or presenting comments are asked to contact District Administrator, Linda Loomis at 763-545-4659 or by email (preferred) at naiadconsulting@gmail.com, by 4:30 p.m. May 5, 2021 to be placed on the participation list and be provided with instructions for video access.

   • Citizens may address the Board of Managers about any item not contained on the regular agenda. A maximum of 15 minutes is allowed for the Forum. If the full 15 minutes are not needed for the Forum, the Board will continue with the agenda. The Board will take no official action on items discussed at the Forum, with the exception of referral to staff or a Board Committee for a recommendation to be brought back to the Board for dicussion or action at a future meeting.
