The Lower Minnesota River Watershed District Board has adopted a bold new framework to guide our future. Drawing from the powerful address by our President, Joseph Barisonzi, at the 17th Minnesota River Congress, this approach recognizes what we've long known: Systemic problems require systemic solutions.

Six local government agencies have been selected to receive Minnesota Clean Water Funds, most of which fall within the Minnesota River basin. The grant recipients are outside of the Lower Minnesota River Watershed District, but the positive impacts will be felt downstream.
