Meet the Eden Prairie Water Stewards

EP Local News recently featured an in-depth feature about how Eden Prairie's residents, staff, and watershed leaders are confronting challenges facing local lakes and streams, from salt runoff to algae blooms. Former Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) member Judy Berglund is featured in the story.

Read the three-part series by Jeff Strate, which highlights a local story of science, stewardship and community action.

Thanking Judy Berglund for her CAC Service

In fall 2025, Judy Berglund retired from our CAC after many years of impactful service. As a founding member of the CAC in 2021, her impact was felt in many areas. Judy was passionate about tabling events and finding ways to connect with community members, especially kids, in a creative way. She frequently volunteered to help at District-sponsored events and showed leadership on behalf of the CAC at the 2025 Public Listening Session and Minnesota River Boat Tour Events. Judy was always engaged during in-person tours and meetings, finding connections to the educational topics and her community. We thank Judy for her exceptional service and the lasting impact she has made on the watershed!
