The Lower Minnesota River Watershed District (LMRWD) is thrilled to announce that construction for the Spring Creek stabilization project is complete! In 2022, the LMRWD began investigating erosion along Spring Creek after residents reached out regarding impacts to private property at three sites along the creek in Carver, Minnesota. The Lower Minnesota River Watershed District is now accepting spring applications for the Educator Mini-Grant program! The District funds educational projects related to water and natural resources. Share the opportunity with all the educators in your network and finish your application for up to $500 per project. Applications are awarded on a competitive basis while funds last, offered in the fall and spring. Submit your applications by Sunday, April 6, 2025.

Do you have a great project and need a little extra funding? You are in luck! The Lower Minnesota River Watershed District (LMRWD) Water Resources Restoration Fund provides funding to local government units (LGUs). Applications are due February 28.
